Promenade Art Gallery welcomes Gerald Maguire

PORTSTEWART artist May Mitchell's Promenade Art Gallery is being prepared to welcome the works of Belfast artist Gerald Maguire.

From Saturday, May 1, the window of the Promenade Art Gallery will feature a special exhibition showing examples of Gerald's work.

The exhibition of watercolours depicting various scenes from around Northern Ireland will run until Saturday May 8.

Gerald Maguire is a highly popular artist whose work attracts much interest from art lovers.

As well as the extremely competent work of Maguire, May Mitchell's bright and attractive gallery also features the works of many local and well-loved artists.

This is the first of such displays when a featured artist's work will be shown in the window of the Promenade Art gallery for a week at a time.

The popular gallery, situated at 22, the Promenade, Portstewart, has been open since Christmas and is already attracting a loyal clientele who will be delighted with this latest choice of exhibition.

Come in for a look around and enjoy the work of Bobby Anderson, Arthur Twells, Garth Giffin, William Scott, Fred Bottomley, Maurice McAleese, Ali Frazer, Rosemary Pollock and Odette Beggs.

The Portstewart Gallery features all media of work including watercolours, oils, pastels and prints of Connor etc, and May Mitchell will always be glad to welcome you and show you around.
